Financial report : As of 4-13-2015 Savings $143,852.48 Checking $27,807.45
Tim gave an update on design progress. He thinks they will have it complete in September. He will prepare the billing and send to DEQ for their review and payment. Discussion about some of the particulars in the system. Discussion on distribution changes and water sources available. Facilities plan about 80 % complete. Working on alternatives for upgrades. Existing PVC should have long life span if not under stress. (Maybe 80 years)
Budget for 2015 reviewed with Stephen. He suggested alternative ways to prepare the budget, and still have money to build up our reserve, and possibly lower basic monthly charge. Discussion and decision was to fine tune our income with the same base fee and allocate balances each month to reserve fund until we know costs of upgrades. Base fee to be reviewed at 2016 budget proposal to see if adjustments can be made for next year. Stephen will have for final review at May meeting.
Fred checked the website and the current POBox listed is sufficient on the Water Shut Off Notice in the By-Laws.
