Meeting Minutes

Meeting opened by Pres. Mike Benjamin at 12 noon – Connies-
Board members present: Gabel, Drinkard, Darnell
Visitors – Neil Tucker, Frank Cafferty
Past due charges are still showing one late fee no matter how many months it is past due. Each month past due should be a late fee for each month, accumulative. This needs to be corrected on future billings.
Neil to remove Lewers meter and service to the main and bill us. We then will add that to the past due billing and file a lein on the property, and terminate Certificate number 203 until account is paid in full.
Neil is to locate the meter at the Crook residence near the property line so we can read the meter easier.
Neil is to determine where the best location is to relocate Czap meter also.
Neil to get with Mike on Friday to check location of another buried tank on Upper Syringa.
Fred to confirm with Karen Applegate on tags. Total of 50.
Fred to confirm owner of Certificate # 129 – Pederson – Gruber transfer? 266 1715 or 255 8458 for Heather or Bruce
After reviewing proposal from Jim Hutchins and Frank Cafferty, it was approved by the Board to enter into an agreement with Cafferty for billing and other paperwork functions as required for District operations. Cafferty will continue to be the Certified Operator for the District as well. Back pay for retainage of Frank’s services for the past was agreed to be paid at 25.00 per month for 12 months, then 25.00 per month going forward. Fred to have a conversation with Jim Hutchens and thank him for his past service, as well as any payments in arrears we owe him. Hutchins will continue to do payroll and associated accounting, as well as end of year tax reports, etc, if required. Motion by Verna 2nd by Stephen.
Cafferty to get with Tammy at Hutchins’ office to get records and supplies owned by the District. A download to a thumb drive may work well, as Frank has the accounting and billing system that matches ours.
