Meeting opened at 4 PM by VP Drinkard

Sept meeting minutes approved

OLD BUSINESS

No update on DEQ/Syringa facilities plan approval. Dover, however has their approvals and can go forward with expansion plan.

Tim is finishing the NUFF update – will have it very soon –

Certified Operator report – busy Sept. – he has inspected several new connections and is now getting locate calls

 

Financial Report   Sinking Fund  $289,210.24   Checking  $31,331.50

Water Loss – 104,504 gallons

DEQ has confirmed they have Ord # 18-01

ByLaw update = Board confirmed that Stephen is to work on this as a “ special project by Board Member” and will keep time log for payment.

 

NEW BUSINESS

 

Workshops needed for :  Review of task item list,  ByLaw review as work progresses ,

*   Develop plan to propose to City for their unjust Encroachment into the District by serving 13 customers in Lula Court, off Pine Street.

*   Report was given by Fred on his meeting with attorney, Steve Smith

*   A time log for “special assignment to complete Annexation requests (13) and work with                                 Assessor and State Tax commission” was approved for payment.

*   Confirmation of Officers –  Stephen Drinkard installed as President and Verna Gabel as Vice-President. Fred to remain Secy/Treas –all in favor

*   Frank Cafferty will rejoin the Board as a member at large – all in favor

*   Stephen to look at website to see how it can be modified to add “Ordinances” or some other title for things other than minutes and news.

*   Fred  to check with Stephen Smith as to his availability after Board has thought about City proposal

*   Fred to check with City on what they are charging Lula Court customers

*   Fred to come up with information to evaluate damages by City to the District.
