Meeting called to order at 10:30 AM by Pres. Mike Benjamin
Board Members present: Gable, Darnell
This special meeting was called to review, revise and accept the Agreement with City of Sandpoint for the Purchase and Delivery of Water.
Scott Campbell called on Dec 27 to remind the Board that the current Agreement expires at midnight on Dec. 31.
The Board members present discussed several conditions of the Agreement, along with how specific wording may put the District in jeprody in the upcoming negotiations with the City regarding current issues.
It was agreed to amend the Agreement as follows:
ARTICLE V
5:1 Shall read:
Extensions to the SYRINGA water system shall be constructed in accordance with D E Q water main pipe size extension standards.
ARTICLE XII
7.1 Shall read:
Under no circumstances shall SYRINGA extend the water provided under the terms of this Agreement outside SYRINGA’S boundaries or to any other municipality or political subdivision without the express approval of SANDPOINT.
