Meeting opened by President Stephen Drinkard at 2 PM
Board Members present – Caffefrty, Gabel, Darnell
Water Manager report –Discussed billing aging and Collection efforts. Notice of shut-off sent to 3 users. Other operations normal, except concern over water loss, which is irregular month to month.
Financial Report Reserve account $ 289.282.35 Checking $ 40,589.91
Water loss report – 159,815 gallons ($603.20)
Discussion Re: Infringement into our Water Right area. – Sandpoint letter to Mr. Smith 3-29-19. Reference made to John Cafferty letter May 9, 2018. Mr. Smith sent letter to City Administrator and Mayor asking for attention to the matter at hand. It is the feeling of the Board that this is being mishandled at the City level. Hopefully a meeting will be forthcoming..
Stephen has talked to USDA about a loan. He will contact again and try to arrange a meeting.
Stephen will send a letter or email to Dover asking for reconsideration of their proposal.
Permission was given to Sewell to proceed with quotes for Phase 1 work. ( Replace older pipe and gate valves within the system. Includes replacing 2 inch at Pinecrest loop with 4 inch and tie across above cemetery.
Frank to confirm ownership of old pump house on Pine St near R/R tracks.
Fred to get more information from IWRB RE: license conditions.
