Meeting Minutes

Meeting opened by President Mike Benjamin at 4:15 PM
Members present: Cafferty, Gabel, Drinkard, Darnell
Visitors: Linda and Wayne Brown – Neil Tucker – Tim Blankenship
The Browns voiced concerns that their water pressure has been low for a long time, and really wanted some action taken to rectify the problem. After much discussion, it was decided to have Neil revise connections to the cemetery and Hawkins residence, and terminate the existing service to those connections. He will connect them to the 4 inch main near Hawkins existing meter. Tim to review after work is done and make further recommendations if necessary.
Mike, Neil and Frank will get with Tim and help get answers to his questions regarding the system and what he needs for his work on evaluating the system. Fred will get info on property owners in proposed expansion area.
Tim reported on progress in planning for the system.
Fred to revise wording in the by-laws regarding charging for giving notice of termination. The existing $44.00 will go to nothing, and the actual turn on if shut off is required will remain at $44.00.
Fred to send Notice of Termination to 4 users who are chronically late and in arrears. Fred will give copy of those notices to Frank for follow up if need be.
Frank said Farm Bureau is preparing insurance policy for Board of Directors. He will present at October meeting for Board approval.
