Meeting Minutes

10-10-2013

Meeting opened at 4 PM – Connie’s

Board Members present:  Benjamin, Gabel, Drinkard, Darnell

Visitors: Frank Cafferty, Neil Tucker

Clarification Re: billing software. Frank will confer with software rep to work on fix if needed to add in past due charges. Also to confirm that charges are changed at the 3000, 15000 and 40000 gal use.

Frank will increase our rates to match the rate increase to us by Sandpoint, beginning November Billing, or when raise takes effect. Motion by Stephen, 2nd by Verna.

Frank to email each Board member costs to date relative to the budget so we can discuss next years budget at the next meeting. Fiscal year ends Nov 31.

Frank to email Verizon account # etc to Fred so he can get mailing address changed for their billing.

One person does not have a certificate to allow continued use of water. The Pederson property was foreclosed on and the Title Co in Boise closed without getting Pederson to sign over his Certificate. New owner Darin Gruber has been notified and Fred will help in getting it straightened out.

Another property sold in foreclosure on Pinecrest has same problem about getting Certificate, but Fannie Mae is buying a Certificate for them.

Stephen to work with Mike to define a job description and compensation for his time, mileage, and any misc expenses, retainer, etc

Neil gave update on repairs. Pine st station cleaned out, new pressure gauges installed, general minor maintenance. Also the PRV station on Ontario and Lower Syringa has been rebuilt and made accessible for future maintenance. He will check with Dover to determine where their line may have damaged ours during installation, and if any repairs were made. Ontario and Lower Syringa was repaired by them, and had been leaking a lot, by looks of salvaged repair parts. We need to check all repairs along Lower Syringa and Rocky Point. We lost about 35 thou gals there last month. Neil and Mike will use our ground radar to see what they can find.

Fred to contact Badger Meter Co. to find out what consequences are by using ¾ meters and 1 inch read-outs.

Motion to adjourn – ‘Verna  2nd by Stephen.   5:35 PM
