Board members present – Gabel, Drinkard, Darnell
Visitor – Frank Cafferty
Board accepted member nominees Benjamin and Darnell terms to expire Feb 2020
Welcome was initiated by Drinkard, second by Gabel
Darnell read letter from Charles Bovey, which was answered by mail. He was displeased about our policies and that rates had increased from 400 to 600 per month, but they are currently around 386. I am not sure where he got his numbers, but I wrote him a letter.
Darnell mentioned call from Dover (Rhonda) re: unpaid bill. They wanted to know who our insurance carrier was.
Water Loss for January was 182,175 gallons.
1099 forms were approved and Fred to mail 1096 to Fed and State.
Frank presented Board the P&L and Balance Sheet as of 2-12-14
It was determined that quarterly reports would suffice instead of monthly.
Frank confirmed Lewers was on inactive list. His balance due will remain on the
books as an account receivable
Frank -New basic fee to be $32.33. New rates for water approved 0-3000 $3.68
3-15 $4.10 15-40 $6.04 over 40, 000 gals $7.69 $1.78 for City fee remains
Due date on bills was reviewed. The due date should read the last business day of the month, however that can be shown on the billings. Frank to fix.
DEQ update. Tim had notified Fred that the acceptance of applicants to receive planning grants would be the middle of March
